ARIZONA DESERT - With Our Arms to the Sun will celebrate the upcoming release of its A Far Away Wonder with several shows on the West Coast later this month.
The progressive art rock band will make stops in the Pacific Northwest and Los Angeles area before headed back to their native Arizona to share the stage with Tool in front of more than 30,000 fans at the second day of Tempe's huge Monster Mash.
With Our Arms to the Sun recently signed with the upstart label Fade to Silence Records, which was founded by music industry veteran Paul Bibeau. The group's first release for the label was previously available as a self-release but will now be available worldwide in both CD and vinyl formats with expanded artwork on October 30.
These first few shows are a just a warm up for 2016, when the bands plans to hit the road hard and reach new cities across the county.
"We've done lots of DIY tours where we booked ourselves around the western parts of the United States," vocalist/guitarist Josh Breckenridge said. "Now that we are working with a booking agent, we have some other great support tours in the works and 2016 is going to be a big year."

OSLO - Mortiis will make a long-awaited return to the United States this fall as the band joins Mushroomhead for a month-long warm up tour in preparation for the release of The Great Deceiver.
The idea of going back on the road fills me with a weird sense of excitement and dread," said frontman and namesake Mortiis. "The Great Deceiver is not far away - at long last - and we´re getting back out there, brushing off the dust and rust, to get ready for that, and whatever lies beyond."
The group, which hasn't toured the American shores since a 2006 trek with the Genitorturers and the 2005 Blackest of the Black tour, will preview material from the upcoming ninth album, as well as reaching back to favorites from the ensemble's ever-evolving catalog of music.
The Great Deceiver, which has remained in a torturous state of constant evolution until just recently, led the band through the darkest of places and back. The anger, frustration and disgust that permeate the record will be loud and clear in Mortiis' hostile live performance.
"It´s been one hell of a steep climb to where we´re at right now," Mortiis said, "and knowing me, I´ll step right off of that ledge, and plunge head first into the abyss."
This return stateside to present the new material live will be just a sign of things to come.

SayWeCanFly is one-man acoustic act Braden Barrie from Lindsay, Ontario. Today, the 20-year-old musician has announced his first EP with Epitaph Records. The Darling EP will be released digitally on October 23. CDs will be available athttp://found.ee/SayWeCanFlyBundles.
Every once in a while an artist comes along who makes music so heartfelt and relatable that he or she become an instant sensation in the underground community-and that can certainly be said of Braden Barrie who has been playing under the name SayWeCanFly since 2009. With nearly 1.2 million social media followers, and fresh off a successful stint on the Vans Warped Tour's Acoustic Basement stage, Barrie is finally ready to unleash his Epitaph debut the Darling EP on the world.
"The whole recording process was just a long hangout with some microphones," Barrie explains. "The most important thing about bringing my songs into reality is good vibes. I need to be in a space where I can completely let go and get lost in my emotions with no negative vibes or stress around because the studio is the doorway between my heart and our world." That doorway stood wide open for Barrie who unbelievably wrote all of these songs in 24 hours. "It was just one of those days where I was able to pour my feelings onto paper without trying," he says. "I've always found that my best songs happen without knowing they're coming."
While SayWeCanFly has previously released four EPs,and theDarling EP features his strongest material to date. It also sees him expanding on the stripped-down instrumentation he's utilized in the past. "The whole theme of this EP seems to be the journey through our darkness trying to find that little spark that makes us feel like we're okay."
Luckily for fans, Braden Barrie plans on hitting the road as much as possible over the next year and has already began work on his next full-length album. In the meantime, hopefully these songs will help you heal.
