Cleveland's Level-C Signs with Locomotive Music

America’s heaviest all-female metal band, Level-C, has inked a deal with Locomotive Music for the release of its debut album.

“Being a part of the Locomotive family seemed like a good match from the beginning,” said guitarist Christina Crago. “Maybe it is intuition, or instinctual, but they gave us the perfect outlet for Level-C.”

The Cleveland-based band has been slugging it out for six years, playing shows, honing their craft, and doing everything it took to bring their baby to this point.

“We were four chicks in a crappy van with a common goal,” said singer Christine Maynard. “We’ve seen a lot of great bands break up and disappear because they couldn’t get along. We’ve had more than our share of tough times, but that makes accomplishment taste that much sweeter.” “Locomotive and Level-C are a perfect match,” said Tom "Smitty" Smith, U.S. Managing Director, Locomotive Music. “We are both ready to do what it takes to bring Level-C to the masses. Locomotive is excited to be working with them and everyone is looking forward to taking them to the next level (pardon the pun!).”

Level-C’s debut will be released this summer.
